It has been brought up several times that a dark horse candidate might provide some excellent media attention(provided that we get it first) and that he(or she) would also be free from corruption. It has also been brought up that candidates with name recognition, despite thier possibly high level of corruption, would ebtter serve our purpose. I really believe that we need to start thinking beyond the candidates right now. A grassroot candidate can always be found and if we can get our hands on an acceptable and well-known politician we will definitely know when we're coming close. What is of the utmost imperative is that we start thinking about cabinet members: extra-political-intellectuals who are willing to run for office and take some of the highest offices in the land. Our greatest asset right now is that we are out of the system but its important to remember that our goal is to become a part of the system, even if we intend to change it. I realize this is somewhat off-topic so I will create a forum with a similar name.
