While it is tempting for some to continue to argue the wisdom of starting the war, the basic question in front of the next president is, "What do we do now?" If we stay, for how long – and does a sudden withdrawal honor or dishonor those who have died? Is there any formula which will cause the Iraqi factions to achieve enough unity to govern their country?
