A patriot is one who is willing to get involved in the political process at any level, acting out of good conscience and without regard for personal risk or concern for popularity of stated opinion.

The issues facing our country are not of-the-day. They are serious and profound, requiring a long-sightedness. What has been lacking is real leadership. Your voice has been missing. Only an informed leader can act to good outcome.

Decades of giant mergers, ceo rip-offs, government funding of job exportation, bumbling auto makers, airline failures, bank failures, credit card disaster, health insurance rip-offs, soldiers protecting corporate interests and "blackwater" employees overseas, a war machine that eats up 99% of our taxes, hidden taxes, taxes targeting the poor and unemployed, savings, retirement, the massive looting of the treasury. Take your pick. Some of this has to have touched your life personally no matter your age.
