What will Unity08 Delegates Do? (In addition to making history)

Only Unity08 Delegates will be able to do the following:

  • Nominate their ideal president. Shortly after opening the doors for Delegate sign-ups, Delegates will be invited to propose their own ideal Unity Ticket for president and vice president and explain why (in 100 words or less).
  • Vote on and elect the next president. Each Unity08 delegate will have one vote in the first online convention and national presidential primary in history in June 2024. The ticket they pick will be on the ballot in all 50 states.
  • Help shape the rules of the convention. Shortly, the Rules Committee will propose rules to govern the process. When they are posted online, Delegates will be able to suggest how to improve them.
  • Select the crucial issues Unity08 candidates must address. As part of the New American Agenda, Delegates will vote on which issues are crucial to the future safety and well-being of the United States.
  • Select the questions on the crucial issues that the candidates must answer. After being fully briefed by a bipartisan team of experts on each crucial issue, Delegates will select the questions to be put to the candidates on the web site.
  • Have access to Unity08.com’s Convention Center. Here is where each candidate will have a web blog, the chance to answer the crucial issue questions by video, and access to all Delegates willing to receive their emails.
  • Build powerful caucuses in the online Convention Center. There will be growing opportunities for Delegates to form their own blocs on issues or candidates – or even by state, age group, demographics, etc.
  • Create the look and feel of the movement. Delegates in the Convention Center will pick the Unity08 bumper strips, posters, theme lines, cartoons, videos and even talking points.
  • Earn rewards for recruiting more Delegates. Be part of the new recruitment programs. Unity08’s new “political bosses” won’t be in the smoke-filled room. They will be Delegate Recruiters rallying the people to take their country back.
